Thanks for the post/details BigChartTrader! I don't have time to watch the market closely during the day, so I can only trade off the Big Charts. Very helpful to take a look at your GOOG trades. Do you look at the Weekly chart for trend, or do you just use 233/daily?by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion

The "E" chart isn't from the Gary Williams stock trading classes. As pointed out by Darcy on the RTT Forums, the "E" signal is described in the "Technical Analysis for Dummies" book. You can read more about the "E" signal here:by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion

They still tend to be shorter trades in the summer, and there seem to be less trades that setup for ideal entries.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
RTT signaled a potential put play (1-week seasonal trend) for BA on Thursday night (June 20). I checked out the charts and the daily was set up nicely, so I bought Puts on Friday morning. BA pushed lower on Friday morning, but then rebounded in the afternoon (with the Dow) to finish up a little on Friday. But this morning, BA tanked and the Puts hit my GTC of up a buck. It looks like BA may cby trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion

Seems like we have been in rally mode for a long time. The pullback could be a significant one...but the question is, when!? Darcy2 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Way too high for my blood! Market needs a > pullback!by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion

Good stuff. I also trade off the Daily chart - I have been using the E on the Daily to help confirm a trade. So are you actually looking on the 144 to find a trade, or is that your "Action Chart" after you find a band-to-band trade turning up (fat pitch) on the Daily?by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
I use the E signal on the daily as a confirmation signal. I'm not sure if this is the exact same E signal as Darcy uses. Mine is the combination of three moving averages (5, 10, 20) on the Daily chart. You can see the E starting to form on May 9-10 timeframe. CHK currently has good RTT 2-week and 4-week trends. stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc?s=CHK&p=D&b=5&g=0&i=t63622422177&r=by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
I turned off my candles several months ago. I really like the way it makes the chart look simpler and helps me focus on the indicators. I have also been using the E signal (combination of moving averages) that Darcy/rookie30 talks about - it's a lot easier for me to see when the candles are off.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
Due to my job, I can't watch the market closely during the day - so I only make trades from the Daily chart. Because I expect to be in trades for days or even weeks, I like to trade the 4-week or 2-week RTT Seasonal trends or the longer-term RTT Earnings trends. Since we have added the "Trading the Evidence" section on the Dashboard, it only takes me a few minutes a night to see ifby trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion

We have added a "Trading the Evidence" section at the top of our Dashboard. This section includes stocks with current or upcoming RTT Earnings/Seasonal trends that have potential technical entries in the last two trading days. We also recently added animated technical cross indicators to our charts - these indicators show the potential technical entry points.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
Thanks Darcy! We are always looking to add new stuff for our subscribers. We just released another new feature on the Dashboard today - "Trading the Evidence". We show stocks with current or upcoming RTT Earnings/Seasonal trends and have potential technical entires in the last few days. Let us know what you think.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
