Thanks for sharing. Good stuff! Looks like the overall market is now trying to make another run up! A couple more weeks of Earnings Season remain before summer time trading begins.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
NFLX made a mini-run starting on April 12...but looks like the overall market bearishness is going to take it down hard today before earnings release this afternoon.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
NFLX Daily chart looks pretty good now...Earnings release on Monday afternoon (4/23)by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
Still hard to tell which direction the overall market will go...but NFLX and AMZN have had nice pullbacks...I'm watching them.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
Are you trading this week? For the last week, the market has been pulling back. Or is it the start of a bigger correction? The daily charts of the indexes are getting close to oversold (stochastics), but the weekly charts are showing a potential to turn over after a log run up. It is Earnings Season, and most of the RTT seasonal/earnings trends are bullish at this point....if this is justby trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
Agree. Great day for RES on a down market day!by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
I have watched FWLT this morning. You're right - great setup on the Daily after yesterday. I was looking for an entry. But the down market has made the Fat Pitch evaporate so far... RES is fairing much better in today's down day. Up a little bit, but with only about $0.40 to the top bollinger band on the daily.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
Excellent - thanks for the heads up! I have been busy the last few days and haven't been able to check out the possible plays.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
Good point. I would suggest contacting RTT (customerservice@researchtrade.com) regarding your proposal to ensure you are not violating any service agreements or polices.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion

Awesome!! I'm pretty sure you at least made it to Hawaii - way past Seattle! :-)by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
I love to hear about your 30 minute 12% profit plays! Impressive - nice job.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
I exited the trade a few minutes ago. Traded the CLF April 60 Calls: Bought for $6.20 last Friday (3/9) Sold for $12.40 today (Thursday 3/15) CLF may continue to rise - it has been on fire the last 2 days. But it is at the top of the daily bollinger band as well as the 200-day simple moving average...so I took the 100% gain (minus commissions), and time to move on to the next trade.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
Thanks! I've been working hard on staying unemotional during trades - it was tough when I saw that CLF gapped way up this morning. :-) brcurley - sorry you missed it. I certainly know that feeling of watching a stock for an entry and then getting distracted and missing it - I have experienced that quite a bit recently.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
I entered a trade on Friday, following the basic premise in the "Trading the Evidence" video in the Learning Center. Trading the Evidence Video CLF 4-week seasonal trend started Monday, March 12 - UP trend, with average and median return around 15% over the last 10 years - you won't see too many trends better than that. Awesome trade - congrats! Also looks like that 1-week CF down trend will be sucessful for 7 years in a row...by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
Wow, that is an impressive 10-minute trade! Great recap. I personally can only watch the market enough to trade off daily and sometimes the hourly chart, so it is very interesting to me to hear about trades using 5 minute and 1 minute charts.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
mtut Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Closed out CF position yesterday. Good trade - taking the brick and moving on.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
funkho did it in this thread: I don't know how he did it, though. I beleive he is still around, but hasn't posted in a while on the forum. Hopefully, he will see this and chime in.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
Wow, great post Darcy - thanks for all the detail. Congrats on landing safely in Seattle!by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion

I love the way that the seasonal downward pressure plus the technical indicators on the daily chart are working to push this stock down even though the Dow/Nas/SPX are all having a big up day. If the overall market would turn down again, MA would probably have a hugh selloff.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion

mtut Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > HD indeed did retreat from the upper bollinger > band. I exited the trade with a small loss of .12 A good move, given the proximity to the upper bollinger band. HD has been going up since October, and could still move in that direction. But at least in the short term, the probability of going up a lot isn't greaby trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion

The overall market has had a nice run up for a while now...seems to be due for a pullback, as the market calendar suggests. But it just seems to keep going up each day (it was down some on Friday, but not enough to break the up trend yet)...I'm expecting a pull back soon, but not sure when it will start.by trendtrader1 - Trading Discussion
