Hey Spang67 (aka joe) I use Qcharts so I can't say anything about TOS. S/O uses SD and if SD is ever gone he will go to Qcharts too. My brother likes to buy and sell stock. That works for him and he is good at it but it is slower IMHO than options... but then it is less costly than options can be if you are wrong. For some reason he just didn't do well with options.by Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
Shhhhhh.....Here's the thing Traildoc..when I do a PEAK trade I full expect the next day or day after to be able to do a call on the same stock. At 3:00 ICPT (actually 2:59) is up 27.53. Not a bad trade...again...by Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
I agree funkho...when I first started any trade that went my way... I was happy about. I lost several trading baskets before I decided I really needed to study and read GW's booklist. Congrats on your GOOGL trade.by Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
I love to do PEAK trades on Pharma. It just seems to work best on those stocks. This morning when I was watching CNBC I saw ICPT was off the charts...over $117.00 up. I knew what my trade this morning would be. Right at the open I bought ITM PUTS on ICPT no charts at that time. I exited when I was happy with my profit. Often I leave $'s on the table but I do not care if I do. I am happy wiby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion

Ah heck...it is the same chart. It is suppose to show the entry which is right at the point where the 10 ma x's the 20. You must have all the factors going for you for ther to be a trade. so you will ned to see a 21 or 34 chart with FP or HRFP with room to move, strong ADX, money flow going your way and the E signal. I am learning so be kind! I still do not have the HTML right but if you click on you'll see the chart I used to get into TSLA. This is the 21 chart next I'll try to post the 10 E chart. I tried to put it in the "insert image URL" but "nuttin happened" except being told I needed to do a http. Hope this works so you can see what I see. <a href=" src="; titlby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
Thanks for a great question. I hope I can answer this clearly. NCT: "When you use the "E" do you need a recent new "E" in your direction"? When I trade the E signal it must be happening extremely close to the FP or HRFP or at the same time. I do not trade my Esignal mid-day unless that is when I get a FP or HRFP. RR....I read the original version 2005. It is a positive read on doing small things first that build into larger things. So far this year trading between $2,000 - $5,000 per trade (most trades run aout $3,000) S/O and I together have made over $350,000. Again I am not bragging but showing that by doing small things anyone can build into larger things. I probably was the most negative person yby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
I do not post my winnings as much as I had in the past because I am doing the same thing I always do over and over again. I am in my office today which has my two screens. It surprised me how much easier it was for me to see my moves than on my lap top. I did a PEAK play on REGN with a profit of $399.16 and a call on NFLX with a profit of $998.34. I watch my 21 chart for Peak trades. For me to trade a Peak Play the candles have to be out of the Bollinger Band on the 55,34, and 21 otherwise I do not trade. As the candle grows smaller and is outdide the Bollinger Band I watch the 3 chart to enter. I do not risk trying to take my Peak Play to a high profit. $200 - $400 is my general range unless I am getting a huge continuous down candle aby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
I agree NC. I thought for sure after the market reached the 17,000 mark we would get a serious pullback. I was fooled. S/O and I have traded and have done ok. Still haven't lost any trades but trades are few. I am also unwilling to put anything above $3,500 - $3,700 on the line. Just a little jittery about this market even though the talking heads keep saying this is a bull market. S/O saby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
This summer seems to me to be different than last summer. I think it is a little harder but that is my opinion only. E Charts were not covered in 1-5. E charts are a product of my S/O. They are moving averages that when crossed along with GW's HRFP or FP produces a better chance of a good trade. Market seems really odd to me over the last several days. I can't really put my finger on it but all I can say is it is just a feeling I have...a caution if you will to be alert. Hi Dan, Unless a stock is within a few cents ( 10 and 20 cents is too much) of the next strike we do not mess with OTM. In fact I have at times (though not recently) bought 1 -2 strikes ITM. S/O and I are getting ready for our vacation but this morning we traded a quick trade. It was opposite the over all market but at the time it agreed with the NASDAQ.
