Example..car breaks down, dental or other surgery, family situations that you need to help with such as parents, house payments, insurance, accidents you have to pay for. tp: "3. BIDU 4/14 Considering the strong support on the 55,34, 21,5,and 3, would you have perhaps stolen a peek at S/O's 1 min chart to get an early exit from your put at 9:58?" I steal from S/O all the time. I cheat off his paper. In fact S/O finds E trades faster than I can click from chart to chart. tp: "2. BIDU 4/25 Would you have waited on the 5 chart to show signs down (MF reversal,RSI starting to curl,MACD slight down) before entering?" As far as 4/25 on small charts there isn't an Esignal until much later. However if you note it is a gap down. Trading off just that gap I would not have bought a PUT until 4/28 when the gap closed and down was well on the way. I would have boby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion

tpplayer32 Will look at the dates sometime today but am heading out of town and will be gone most of the day. But let me say this... Generally when S/O and I enter a trade the 55,34,21,10,8,5,3,and 1 are all showing E with the 55,34,and 21 with a HRFP/FP as well. We have entered trades with the 55 close to a HRFP/FP but with the 34 and 21 already showing either and sometimes the 55 iby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion

After the split I will do the Printing Press with it and see if through that method I can pay for the stock. I have done options with AAPL up to today. After today AAPL will split 7 for 1. Take your 233 & 55 chart. Draw an extended line at the $214.00 mark. When candles get close to that line look for a PUT. Buy calls carefully. TSLA is in a trading range of $206/$207 - $213/$214 ADD: 6/4/14 - Support brokenby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion

Dan, Sure but we also need to remember that the NASDAQ has no physical floor trading. It is electronic or computer generated market makers. NFLX is a NASDAQ stock which is the one that went up a $1.00 while the call option went down. I think we are talkig about the same just in different ways.by Darcy2 - Trading Discussion

Dan wrote... "the market maker role is much less prevalent than it used to be." I like Tom Sosnoff better than Crammer. Sosnoff is one smart cookie. Robert I love your posts! Today S/O and I had a chance to get into a real money trade on NFLX ( we will trade FP's with E's) but when that option glitch happened we decided that perhaps the market maker was still messing with options so we rode the virtual trade. I really don't like missing a $1,020 profit but then I wouldnt have like the market maker making a of me.by Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
Still hanging back in this market. S/O bought virtual NFLX 380 call option for 15.85 @ 9:56 he checked option @ about 10:35-10:39. NFLX had moved over $1.00 but the option was less than what he paid for it at that time. (Weird) Now (10:51 5/21/14) the option is moving in his direction. I buy ITM but at times S/O buys OTM if the stock is close to the strike price. S/O is the gunslinger. Generally I and S/O will buy up to Wednesday on expiration week sometimes Thursday if the market is moving good. I did not trade anything today. Looking forward to Tues or Wed. this week. Yes drawing the wedges and FIB #'s must be done every day after the close to get a good reading. Using the FIB retracement tool right now says the DOW will pull back to 16366.7 for a 50% pull back. That will hit at about the 50 ma. The wedge drawn yesterday was broken. Once that happens it does signal a reversal. WMT reporting had a lot to do with that. Possible more down in more retail like JCPby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
S/O had traded the Q's off the E chart only and it was a very fast trade. He got in @ 9:51 and bought 70 May 87.50 Puts. He sold @ 10:09 for .80. He has found thus far he can generally trade the Q's twice a day when the market is moving. NFLX was another great trade. Entered @ 9:55 bought 10 May 345 Puts for 3.80 sold @ 10:09 for 5.85. Still looking for other trades perhas after lunch.by Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
It all depends. If I use my Fib projection tool and measure from the low of 10/9/13 to the high at 11/29/13 and then the pull back from 11/29/13 to 12/12/13 you will hit a 61.8% of the move up 8 times. This does not take in the move down from 12/31/13 to 2/3/14. If I measure from 2/4/14 to 4/2/14 then to 4/11/14 the percentage of 61.8% would be reached at 16786.6 before a pull back. I have had this happen often which is why most of the time I do not do GTC. It seems as though the option has to hit that price on the option, pull back off that price and then hit it again on a GTC before I would be sold out. Whereas when I decide to sell I place my order and I am out almost always.by Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
