When the market opens down or up so much it is safe to sit on the sidelines beause you will generally get an E signal on your charts. OR test this...This morning when the makret opened up 161 points down there was little doubt for us that the trade this morning would be up. So I looked for a stock that was in the green because it would go higher. Today that stock was GPRO. (+600.00 on the trade)by Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
Great article and hit me all over the place with one exception... I diidn't read where "You throw your mouse across the room only to have it come back and hit you in the head. That's when you realize that your mouse was not wireless!"by Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
Makes for a possible time to trade the Q's...Entered this morning on a 99 Oct Put. Still in monitoring. Currently up on Q's $2,040.00. I think the trade may be nearing an end because 3 E chart has 5 moving average moving towards the 20. almost everything in our basket looked good for a trade but it was fast...really fast.by Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
52trade Wrote: do you always use the 10 min. chart for your entry? Often but not always. It all depends on where the candle is. If I have E and FP or HRFP on my 21 or 34 and a good reading on my 55...most often I enter right then UNLESS I see there will be a pull back. Then I use the 10 and S/O uses the 8. So sorry for such a long wait before I answered you. S/O and I were out of town and to tell the truth were not watching the market hardly. When I look at my 233 or Daily I look for the over sold or over bought area in Stoch RSI. If I am thinking longer term I am looking for both charts to be in that area. If I am looking for a shorter term I look to see if I can find support or resistance on tby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion

I understand the divergence thing. Note S/O traded it....... "The gunslinger" not me. Here's what S/O says... "At 9:49 I have FP on the 55, 34, and 21. I had E on all charts. I had a ADX going up on 55, 34, and 21. Money Flow was going down on the 8 and 10." He exited trade at 10:02. Sometimes S/O does trades with only E on all charts and a rising ADX and money flowby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
Welcome dbanko. The E system works on big charts also. You would use the 144, 233 and daily. BCT mentioned this in another post and how he used the 144 E chart. I tried GW's way of trading using pull backs HRFP, FP and lost enough baskets that I thought I was Little Red Riding Hood eaten by the wolf. Yes I found one on 9/3 and I rode it until today. It was GPRO. It is expected to rise at least until Oct/Nov for the Christmas season. I bought 8 Sept 57 calls for $3.30 and sold today for $11.80..then traded with S/O on his trade today. S/O bought on Sept 5 . He purchased 5 BIIB Sept 330 puts for $7.20 and sold them for $11.30 (same day). He also bought 5 TSLA Sept puts for $7.10 and soldby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion

S/O traded BIIB PUT from 9:38 - 11:16 on Friday. You could have done a PUT starting Thursday on BIIB... E was there. We were in the Q's Thursday on a CALL from 9:47 to 10:22. BIIB rode the BB down from Thurs - Fri afternoon. Usually when candles are on the BB they will ride that band in the direction where they are stuck on the band. Once the candles start pulling away from the BB look for aby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
sometimes it is an art thing. I know some of you have back tested and looked and studied until your eyes are sore. Some of us are naturals. My S/O is. He has been trading a little over 1 1/2 years while I have studied and studied read and read and practiced and practiced for 10 years. My S/O can spot a trade 50 times faster than I can. He sees them. He is just simply good at this. Today wiby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
I can't say... "I have never traded gaps off a 55" however speaking generally if I do not have a gap on my daily I do not consider that to be a signal for a trade in the direction of the gap. The 55 chart in this case looks like an exhaustion gap. It came after the stock had already had a large rise up. Look at the gap down on 7/21 - 7/22 on the open on the 55. I don't wait for pull backs unless the stock is way out of the Bollinger band. A stock the is way out of the Bollinger band on all charts can actually be a peak or slam so you can say that is playng the pullback. If you want to wait for a pullback you can use the 1, 3 or 5 chart for entry. Usually the 8 chart takes too long. Generally my pullbacks are small as far as effecting the option. I have found that the first step is believing that you can. Acording to Scripture "As a man thinks so is he". So if you think you can or you think can't you're right. Will Smith contributed that to Conficious but it is Bibical.by Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
I am glad you are being assisted in what I and S/O have learned. We had a good friend stop by last weekend and wanted to know how we were doing in our trading. He had moved away for 5 years and just recently came back. He had given up since he lost consistantly. We shared our E with him, helped him reset his charts, set his charts up to match S/O's. Good trade! S/O and I was in EQIX. The spread was more than we usually accept so we have removed eqIX from our watch list. we made $ (+$560) but it was so slow I actually wathed paint dry. Again good trade!by Darcy2 - Trading Discussion
Here's what S/O and I have come up with. We do not know why the strikes changes from $5 increments to $1 ones. However if you are going to buy OTM buy out longer than 1 month. If you are going to buy only 1 month out buy ITM. The only time S/O or I ever buy OTM is on Q's or if a stock is within a few cents of the next strike price and going in the direction needed to buy OTM. I have lby Darcy2 - Trading Discussion

I like Optionxpress. I do pay $14.95 but have not asked for a lower rate. I will now! Thanks ncptech for that info.I like Optionxpress because I get filled fast. S/O uses TOS/TD. He gets filled in bits some time. In other words he may place an order for 10 contracts for $3.00 and he'll get 2 and then a few minutes later he'll get 2 more and then maybe 4 and then 2 more. tpplayer, Thank you so much for the nice words. That means a lot to S/O and I. Why did I enter TSLA 7 minutes after you did?
