I got my Radar to light up; my HRFP/FP are now scanning. Edit the study for all symbols: User define should be 200. Load additional bars to 200.by Chunk - Trading Discussion
RR, OK. I will look into it, if anyone has other suggestions. It is unfortunate that pictures cannot be simply posted to our forum. Imgur.com for images seems to require registering now, which I prefer to avoid. Thanks, Chunkby Chunk - Trading Discussion
Greetings Wanted to re-mention: I've been using TradeStation, which has NO monthly fee; go seek their videos. Just maintain a little more than GW start-up basket in your brokerage. All the same charting features/functionality on the very powerful platform with great support; it can totally look equal to QC or Alchem. (Search my post about 5 years ago, I think I posted a chart image) Dby Chunk - Trading Discussion

NCT: Hopefully you know that you can link all charts and timeframes with TradeStation; the crosshairs clicked on a Daily candle several weeks back will pull all your other charts accordingly. (Using the "Pointer Tracking" "Global" feature under Drawing tab.) Chunkby Chunk - Trading Discussion
Mtut: Great NFLX trade! That was what I was alluding to on my lat post under "E trade Question". On Thursday, I saw the timing and it forming on NFLX, but I was unable to view the charts Friday. Chunkby Chunk - Trading Discussion
Bozey & NCT: This is something I have struggled with for years, which is why I'm am still practicing options. I have taken GW1-5 and have the CD's; one of my family member took all advanced classes. Yet, I struggle with: The smaller "action" charts signal the move, then I flip to the decision and trend and I see contradiction. So, I second guess myself. Or, the decisionby Chunk - Trading Discussion
NCtrader: SwEEEEEEEt ! Thank you kindly. Your contributions are extremely helpful. Chunkby Chunk - Trading Discussion
mtut: Sorry I didn't clarify: I meant 2:20 on 5/8 just using GW's charts; not reenter 5/11. I guess that would mean an overnight/weekend position. I'm still learning that. E chart question: Do you folks delete your 50 & 200 MA's on your short charts to make them less noisy? Or do you superimpose 5,10 MA's on GW's charts? Thanks, Chunkby Chunk - Trading Discussion
mtut: Nice NFLX trade. Were you noticing this trade on 5/8? For example, what if you entered off GW's 8min chart at 2:20pm? Do you think your results would be as good? Thanks for sharing. Chunckby Chunk - Trading Discussion
If you use OptionsXpress: Research Tab on the ToolBar; then "Market Overview". "Splits" is on the left column at the bottom. Briefing commentary is center of the screen where it says "more". Chunkby Chunk - Trading Discussion
I agree with NC trader. I did mention to TStation that for some reason the horizontal line of the cross-hairs is omitted with the tracking. Hopefully the more they hear from people, the sooner it will resolve. Chunkby Chunk - Trading Discussion
ncmudbug Thank you for indirectly helping me with the missing crosshairs on my chart; I had lost them when I made the upgrade to 9.5. Your hint of turning off the PointerTracker brought them back ! I had asked NCtrader to help me problem solve it earlier. Tracker with crosshairs without mouse-hold would best. Chunkby Chunk - Trading Discussion
To reduce chart noise: Since they both utilize purple 80/20 horizontal over-bought/sold lines, here's my way of implementing MoneyFlow onto StochRSI. (similar to ADX with DMI). E is shown with CC. TRADESTATION 21 min chart Chunkby Chunk - Trading Discussion
Darcy2, Did you mean that BIIB was a put on 9/4 Thursday? Because, I seE it around 11:36 on the 21min. (And confirmed on the 55 & 34 pitches). Or, was BIIB a call 9/5 Friday around lunchtime? I notice the Weekly trend up. So, I seE it on the 3min chart going up at 11:57. I seE it on the 5min up at 12:25. Thanks for all your mentoring. Mine ceased to function as well. I checked TheGuru on the TS forum, and he did seem to post an update. I decided to not bother (in case it slowed my system). I returned to going through my account with OptionsXpress for whatever stock I need to check. Chunkby Chunk - Trading Discussion

Hey NCT: I use the (limited) portal for Briefing through my OptionsXpress, which is why I kept OXP. Click under "Research" then "Market Overview" You will see Briefing commentary "more" in the middle of the screen. Splits and other data on the side column. Still liking TS? Hi NCt We're all learning the nuances of TS. On OptionStation Pro, I click Natural to populate the current price as a Limit. Have you been noticing that sometimes your sell position doesn't get filled even when you're up-a-buck on your practice? I called TS and they said this can happen often in simulation, but less likely when real. (On a side note, I've started using a lime green onby Chunk - Trading Discussion
Hi NCt You mentioned that RadarScreen is a bit limited with what you can do across timeframes. "Across" yes; I just glance at Radar and the interval can only be changed with right click format symbol. Maybe there's a way around it for your indicator... I just use my Radar (as in my photo above) by looking for red/green 0's and 1's. Sometimes 2's. I deleted/formatted out the 3by Chunk - Trading Discussion
NC Trader: You're an amazing "pioneer engineer". I think I did notice your name on the TS forum a while ago. Let me know if you need some of EL codes from my work, although I think they're on the T.S. forum. Are you distinguishing between FP and HRFP? I will stand by for your progress. Thanks for sharing. I recommend this gentleman below, he helped me out by phone.by Chunk - Trading Discussion
NC Trader: So, are you saying that you finished making the language for a straight line indicator?? I would be interested in the Easy Language, although that will create a lot of vertical lines overtime on all charts unless they fade away. Today, I was looking at TradeStation's Scanner and watched the instructional video; that's one powerful tool. I began creating a Scan with the four inby Chunk - Trading Discussion
T.S. Users: Here's my "glancing at the pitches" scanner, so far. Four columns with the ability to change the interval (right click Format All symbols). Notice: the alerts are either a 0,1,2,3 which means how many candles ago the cross occurred for indicator in the column. I agree TS is outstanding. They seem to keep improving; must be a challenge. Good support on the forum. Splits date would be great; that forum search was unsuccessful.by Chunk - Trading Discussion
Thanks to Big Money's past chart picture, I noticed a RadarScreen indicator for next Earnings date posting. I implemented it on my screen. Great resource. Go to TradeStation Community Forum; search "radar earnings release"; choose the author "theguru". Follow his download directions from the first posting that was updated this January. Here's one way to streamline Options buying on TradeStation. Format: Pull up OptionsStation Pro; then link it's symbol (top right corner) to what ever chart you're making your option decision from. That way, it pulls in the ticker and you're ready to go. I formatted the OptionStation Pro to be a little simple in appearance. TradeStation community forum searches had some results for Easy Language indicators to add into Radar Screen. So far I've implemented onto my Radar alerts columns for "number of bars ago crossover" MACD and then DMI. StochRSI alert only says "True" or "False" for a current cross. Fairly precise. Anyone have better results? Chunkby Chunk - Trading Discussion
Look under View: I use the order bar for placing orders. I use the OptionStation pro (customizable) for options, but as you notice from my recent posting I was a little annoyed that my GTC were not being filled when price hit; so I may practice more options through my virtual OptionsXpress. I use TradeManager (customizable) to view positions.by Chunk - Trading Discussion

Darcy2, So you place a limit order for the day, right? Because a market order can be filled for whatever lower than Bid, right? Of course, a lot of you are more experienced then me and you're great quick-draws at in/out in one day; but sometimes a GTC is helpful.by Chunk - Trading Discussion
