I have returned currently to virtual trades to get my mind straight. S/O and I were married for many, many years and I know he would want me to push on. As you know most all our trade were fast and never held over night. We just wanted a bite out of what we saw and built from there. That is how I trade. I nibble. I have made since April in practice trades about $6,000 never using more than $1,500by Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
Hello, Volume moves the option. It is actually the second thing you should observe if you are doing tech analysis. Understanding that strike prices are a reflection of where a stock may go up or down. Also remember that those who own stocks trade options as well to protect their stock or to make more money therefore volatility and time until expiration are very important. There is so many thingsby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
Thank you for all the kind words. I do still watch the market. Trading gave S/O such joy especially when he came across his E. He loved the Q's and maybe someday I can return to trading. I know he would want me to...someday maybe. I will visit from time to time.by Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
On Sept 30th 2019 my S/O left this earth. He was my soul mate, my happy place and my rock. I really haven't been able to move back into the market. My heart just isn't in it. Maybe someday but not now. Some of you may know that my S/O was a Vietnam Vet and was affected by Agent Orange. It destroyed his heart and gave him serious problems with his blood sugar. They are just finding out how bad thiby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
I see the shooting star on the daily. The confirmation shows on the gaps I saw on the 8. I follow moving averages more so than candles. I remember in the class I took of GW's he said "just turn your candles off". I do on occasion. I trade in today out today but not like day trading. Sometimes if I can see it on a chart I stay in over night but that is very rare. Looking at FB today waitby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
LOL...What a huge pullback. Almost (ALMOST) always happens whenever there has been 3 gaps in a trend look for a reversal. It is called "Sanku". It is why I ALWAYS look and mark gaps (big and small) on my chart. Most of the time it is only on my 8 because that is the chart I enter a trade on. Look at an 8 chart. 3 gaps up. And @ 1:14 - 1:22 the gap closed. Nice real nice...$$$$ Soby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
Using a daily chart on Qcharts it showed ROKU with a breakaway gap. A breakaway gap happens when the price breaks resistance or support. On the daily chart I have there was a resistance of the 50 moving average and the 20. Then ROKU reported earnings and this stock broke that resistance. That marked the START of a trend. I am not telling anyone this so you'll get in now. This is only to show theby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion

$120 for 1.5 hours is nothing. We have friends who went to the Najarian Brothers classes. They paid $5,000 and left more confused then when they started.by Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
I know that when a person is trying to help others to learn what they have learned it takes an incredible amount of time, energy and patience. As for the person who watched GW trade twice in one day I never asked him what he was shown. What I see and what he sees and what GW sees are different even if we are all looking at the same stock. I see things right now, the fellow who went sees things inby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
When S/O and I took GW's class in 2004 he had a program whereby if you brought in one person your next set of classes were free. Half of the class would be new and the other half retakes. As for you asking if anyone "has ever personally seen or heard of Gary's showing his actual performance by either statements or another verifiable method?" Yes S/O and I know of someone personally. I hope you saw why I didn't trade AAPL on May 3, 2019. When those candles fight a moving average especially the 20 you need to look for a different trade. That option is not going to move. On the 34 chart the candle although white was stuck on the 20 moving average. That stock moved that day from the open high to the closing high...211.46 open high to 211.93. A little less that a .50 move which wby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
Yep I said I would have exited about 10:58 using that red candle. That is off an 8 chart. The money flow at the time the red candle at 10:58 was done was telling me the money was leaving the trade. Note the stock on the close when I said I would have left was 113.04 and @ your approx exit it was 113.06. The difference in the option may be reflected in the candles. You might see that pull back betby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
No I don't always wait for a pull back but sometimes I can see one coming, sometimes I know the spread on the option is closer to my liking and sometimes I simply miss the trade.by Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
It all depends on the chart. When I first started I watched the option more than the chart. Now I mark on my 8 chart where I got in and then use a different color to where I would get out if the trade goes against me. There simply was too many things going in the right direction for ZM to consider leaving. There is nothing ever, ever wrong of getting out when you see a profit even if you clear $2by Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
Maybe you had a 6th sense? Looked at WMT today 7/29/19 and I hope if you did a call you left that trade by 10:58 7/26. I wouldn't trade it on a long chart either for a PUT and for a CALL >>>at least not until it gets above the 20 moving average on the 233 and daily. Looks like sideways is how WMT is going. Sideways isn't a good profit maker. My trade today??? ROKUby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
Traded ZM today (7/26/19) Got in @ 9:48 bought 5/ $99 contracts @ $5.10 out @ 10:58 sold @ $7.20. Okay so the trade actually presented itself earlier on my 8 chart. But I could see the back-up coming on the 1 and 3 which began to show itself in the 5. So I waited for confirmation. When I first looked at the option it was a .50 spread. Since I could see the back-up coming I knew the spread inby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
I can't really say I have a favorite. S/O does and it is the Q's. I watch mostly FB, TWTR, LULU, and ROKU. I was listening to CNBC and heard Cramer talk about this stock and how it is on all TV's now. Knowing that in America most people now use TV as their entertainment I just knew this was a good stock and would move well. I use my 8 chart when looking for entries. So about May 9...On the open tby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
May 3, 2019 my 34 chart from 9:30 to 10:38 candles fought against going above 20 moving average. On 21 chart candles wrapped around the 20 moving average. This is a sideways move. Today I traded ROKU. Got in @ 10:07.44 paid 4.05. Thinking of selling but looks like I could get a few more $'s. Watching close. Gotta head out so I sold for 6.35.by Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
You are welcome... So if you have a full view of your charts look at your charts today on May 3, 2019. What I mean is if you can see more than one chart at a time. Today I was SO tempted to jump on AAPL on a call until I looked at my 34 chart. At 10:00 my indicators said this was a trade except for my 34 chart. The candle had not broken the 20 moving average going up. I with-held my money and movby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
BTW if you came here when I told you about my AAPL trade and if you bought a call...you'd be making money. I shared I got out of the PUT trade and asked if AAPL would be going up. The 20 moving average was support on the 8 chart.by Darcy3 - Trading Discussion

There is nothing special about S/O’s E signal. It is like GW’s only the moving averages are smaller and S/O added a money flow. Crossing moving averages will move a stock. That applies to using a 5 and 10 cross-over or a 20 crossing a 50 moving average. The difference is the size of the chart. Smaller charts respond to smaller moving averages while larger charts respond to larger moving averaby Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
In BA right now. Bought put March 375 on news for $6.75. I got 5 contracts and right now sold for 12.30. YOU CAN PLAY THE NEWS! Follow the chart. I am done for the week....by Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
Finished for the day. Bought calls on BA this morning 387.5 strike @ 10:09 and out @ 10:17. Paid $10.45 per contract (5) and sold for $11.25. Those slams are so nice. Why did I sell? It hit my mark which this time was the Bollinger Band on the 21. Got my money and I ran! I am just loving the hit and run.by Darcy3 - Trading Discussion
