I'm watching LVS for a put play, as RTT has the down trend starting today. LVS had a special dividend payable today, so the stock gapped down almost $2 from yesterday's close, but is up almost a dollar at the time of this writing, showing positive price action. What's going on? How does the stock gap down but yet have positive prices? Don't get me wrong, the down move is perfect for my put play, it's just I have not encountered this before, and can't seem to find an explanation in any of the WSB material. Thanks!
