Tanman graciously revealed his trading methods recently in one of his posts. In it, he discussed his preference for using EMA's over SMA's when doing short chart intraday trading. Upon further exploration, the EMA's seem be the prefered option, at least for the smaller MA's. Right now I have all my charts set up with SMA's as per GW. Does anyone have any definitive thoughts or suggestions concerning this. If EMA's are utilized, does the displacement need to be altered? Right now all my MA's are set with a displacement of 0. thanks much.
