Booked another nice trade on Nflx as well. I'm really starting to like that symbol :-) Picked up 25.5 %, and I'm H.I.S... Think I'm gonna have them send me a movie for the weekend :-)by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
Morning, See if you can swap the device for a new one. I have an air card that connects into the USB port on my laptop. It works well. When I'm out, I don't have any issues concerning speed so long as I have 2 or 3 bars. Here is something else I would suggest. Search vigorously, for spyware and malware on you laptop. It could be robbing you of speed and data flow. You can use prograby RichieRick - Trading Discussion
Well it is cheaper than Qcharts that's for sure. So long as they don't increase prices each year they should be ok.by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
Yes, I've been getting that a lot as well. Also the forums seem slow to me this week. Slow to access and update. Maybe a server reboot is in order later on tonight.by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
Thanks for the update. Most of your post concerning GW is really none of our business, but I appreciate your openness none the less. I feel ya on the "heartbleed bug". It is proving to be a pain in the behind on my end of things. I wish you much success with Alchemcharts. To be honest though, 200+ bucks a month is crazy steep at least for me:-) Especially when many of us havby RichieRick - Trading Discussion
Yes, NFLX was good to me today also. I made 25% on my option, and I'm very happy.by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
Apparently I mis-spoke... but what else is new :-) lol TD ameritrade recommends NOT using any of the mini options for GOOGL at this time because of how they are listed. The person I spoke to also states that if you were to buy one, you may be stuck with it since no one is really trading them.by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
It will be a while then. When I looked at the minis or 2015 they appeared fine, it is just the 2014 options that are messed up. Well that sucks:-)by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
In Think Or Swim the mini options chains appear to be messed up. The strike prices are the pre-split stikes instead of the current strikes. If you will look at the standard (100 shares) chain and compare it to the mini (10 shares) chain you will see what I mean. Is it just me or is it messed up like that for everyone; at least on TOS?by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
This was an issue that I contacted them on some time ago. The paper money servers, and the live servers are completely different. If you have any custom indicators, they will need to be imported and saved to the paper money side in order to work. Same for watchlists and such. This was a very simular to the issue I was having on the intraday charts some time ago, even on the live side. Doesnby RichieRick - Trading Discussion
I'm sorry. I went back later and moved my jibberish:-) I was just venting my frustration concerning placing options orders and having them not getting filled. Even when I "pay to enter", and "tip" to leave. I'm sure it happens to everyone, but sometimes I feel like the markets are picking on me :-)by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
SD may not be around forever, but I would imagine that Think Or Swim would be around a lot longer. Can't beat that price either :-)by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
More food for thought. Thanks Darcy for posting that. I've been playing around with the QuantShare program. QuantShare is the base program that Alchemcharts will be build on. Basically they will take the QuanShare program, and customize and tailor it. Then they will lock it down, and sell it as a complete package. Having it streamlined and tailored to his teaching would certainly aid himby RichieRick - Trading Discussion
The alchemcharts website appears to be down again. Maybe they're just making updates or something.by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
Never mind. It appears that there servers crashed and they had to restore the data. Any new user that were created within the last few days were lost. The guy said to just re-create the account and it should be fine. It's working now:-)by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
I've found some figures for this stuff. Apparently the QuantShare software has a lifetime license for $245 bucks. So instead of 250 a month for Qcharts, it basically a one time purchase price of $250.00 dollars. Of course there may be some mark up if you obtain the software with the "pre-built" workspaces. Aka Alchemcharts.by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
The website has mysteriously disappeared. I sense a disturbance in the force. Maybe a spy in our midst :-)by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
QuantShare.com If you go there and sign up you can download it for free. Only free for 7 days thought. Another forum member found some interesting stuff concerning QuantShare, but I'll let them decide if they want to post it. It's not what I would consider a "user friendly" program, but once you get it setup correctly it won't matter. The software is built to be customizable anby RichieRick - Trading Discussion
Lol!!!! That was the same look I had when I read her last sentence :-)by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
Yeah the Autowave intra day stuff seemed a bit wishy-washy to me too. The daily was good though. Try adding the max amount of time available for the intra day charts and see if that helps. I noticed also that when I switched from say a 1 year/daily to a 3 month/daily it changed the lines in a way that didn't match Qcharts anymore, so I switched back to the 1 year/daily. Same for the weekly.by RichieRick - Trading Discussion

Thanks for checking Dan. I don't use the ADX part of the DMI just as GW said. I'll go give it a look see to determine if it changes anything. On the AutoWave though, the script the Robert posted a while back seems spot on to me. Best I can tell is it seems to mirror Qchart's autowave pretty darn well. Just to keep you from hunting for it, I'll post in the next post below :-) Just in case yoby RichieRick - Trading Discussion
Hi everyone, I already know what the settings numbers are, but my concern with the CC in TOS may be off a bit. I know what the offset is, and what it should be. I think you will find that even though you enter the same numbers as you would in Qcharts, they still won't line up the same. Yes I know you are supposed to use a negative sign (-) in TOS. If anyone is currently using both Qcharts,by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
yeah I checked it out also. I signed up thinking I would get an email about pricing, but nothing has shown up thus far. Looks like a cleaned up version of Qcharts.by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
WOW!!! If a cup is filled with water it can't possibly hold more water. The water will first have to be emptied before new water can be added. So to; you must do with everything you know about trading and investing BEFORE you took GW's class. I have a question for you GWNO. If GW's stuff is sooooo wrong for us... do you have a better system "for sale"? You seem determined toby RichieRick - Trading Discussion
Man, that makes so much more sense to me now. I was wondering about the 1pm thing also. It never occurred to me that he may be in another time zone. Lol!!! Pardon my ignorance :-)by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
I bout pee'd my pants when I saw your "smiley face" at the end of your post :-)by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
Why not use TOS exclusively??? That way it is all realtime. The paper trade side is delayed, but the live side is realtime. Most of your settings should port right over I would think, but I could be wrong since I don't know that much about SD. I use TOS exclusively now, and you don't HAVE to fund it either.by RichieRick - Trading Discussion
If you had what I had, my heart goes out to ya. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. If I had any of course :-) Hang in there, it will go away for sure. Rby RichieRick - Trading Discussion
