Yes! I agree thank you to all who have shared their information. Another question on the MF indicator, which one do you use as there are several in TOS and there are various settings. Thanks everyone.by NMR - Trading Discussion

nice job! I'm having a bit of an issue with a few things on my E charts- wondering if you can help me: 1) do you have the code for the ADX study for TOS? 2) when specifically do you look for the E cross over? is it all the time and when all of the signals show 'red' or 'green' that is when you get in?by NMR - Trading Discussion
I had been a QCharts user for many years and then ran QCharts and TOS together. Recently I turned on Alchem Charts. Alchem Charts only has the MA's that he has on his charts- so I cant make the "E" (5 and 10 SMA) on the charts. Alchem Charts is pretty much specifically the WSB indicators.by NMR - Trading Discussion
mtut- thank you very much- it worked and I am building the custom watch list as we speak. I also have Alchem Charts running if you (or anyone) needs a comparison.by NMR - Trading Discussion
yes, definitely- or if you have the studies to share I can do that. It looks like what you have and are doing are a bit different that the other "E" charting that I have loaded and studied in the past, am I correct?by NMR - Trading Discussion
MTUT and team- Could you help me and explain how I set up these charts like you all have it set up?by NMR - Trading Discussion
Robert- you have this great code for IN BAND and OUTSIDE BANDS: input length = 21; input MinDaysInband = 5; def sDev = StDev(data = close, length = length); def Avg = Average(close, length); def UpperBand = Avg + 2 * sDev; def LowerBand = Avg - 2 * sDev; def inband = if close < UpperBand and close > LowerBand then inband[1] + 1 else 0; def outband = if inband[1] >= MinDaysInbandby NMR - Trading Discussion
Robert- is there a way to put a column on the WATCHLIST that maybe changes color (or signals a HRFP or FP) when a HRFP or FP occurs on the 233?by NMR - Trading Discussion

Hi Robert: How easy would it be to make a modification to the DM study using this as the base: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> # DI Indicator with Trigger Line declare lower; input DI_length = XXX; plot "DI+" = DIPlus(DI_length); "DI+".SetDefaby NMR - Trading Discussion
Hi guys I am a little lost in trying to figure out what each TOS script does. Can you tell me what this one does specifically? Is it to be used with the E charts?by NMR - Trading Discussion
Thank you very much ! I really appreciate this.by NMR - Trading Discussion
Can a 'expert' TOS thinkscripter help me write some code to create a study? I am trying to write code for a Stochastic indicator (%K) for when it gets over 80, or below 20 where it turns the background a dark gray- I have started this, but cant seen to get it to work properly: plot Data = close and StochasticSlow("k period" = 5, "d period" = 3)."SlowK" is greateby NMR - Trading Discussion
this is outstanding- thank you ! if I can provide any chart insight or feedback- please let me know.by NMR - Trading Discussion
Robert: I wanted to create a signal on my watchlist in TOS that flags a stock when it is outside of the BB: Can I just use your code below and add that as a scan? (using this code): #Out of Bounds def sDev = StDev(close, 21); def MidLine = Average(close, 21); def UpperBand = MidLine + 2 * sDev; def LowerBand = MidLine - 2 * sDev; def CloseAbove = if close > UpperBand then 1 else Douby NMR - Trading Discussion
Thank you ! That makes more sense!by NMR - Trading Discussion
Quick question for you: I understand the HRFP on the 55 34 21. But when you say an "E" on the 55, 34, 21 do you mean the MA's on that chart? If so, what MA's do u use there? OR IS IT SOMETHING DIFFERENT. THANKS DARCY!by NMR - Trading Discussion
Thank you very much. I will be adding to my charts tomorrow !!by NMR - Trading Discussion

Darcy & Rookie30: Can you guys explain your chart set up for looking and and determining if it is a trade? (unless it is the same as noted in the other posts)- which I understand to be: 21 FP or HRFP with a 55 FP ro HRFP (if FP, MACD must be one) move to: E charts 10/8/5 (20/10/5 MA's) plus a MF indicator Is this the correct set up? If not, any tweaks you would suggest? Thankby NMR - Trading Discussion
rookie30: can you elaborate a bit for me (and us) on what else you look at when you are watching your 13 chart? Do you use a 55 for confirmation and/or do you use the E charts (10/8/5 etc.) for a moving average convergence for an entry? I did a fairly detailed analysis on your charts you suggested last night. I printed out all of the 13 min charts for the list and analyzed each move that ocby NMR - Trading Discussion
