Hello, Anyone have a thinkscript that plots previous day's customized opening range on current day's chart? For example, I'm trying to plot yesterday's opening range from 9:00 am to 9:30 am on today's chart. TIA.by JamesBond - Trading Discussion
Hello, I am trying to draw an opening range that starts at 18:00pm eastern and ends at 9:00am eastern the following day. The lines will extend until 17:00pm. I tried to modify Robert's and ReadtheProspectus' OR scripts but I have zero coding background so I haven't been successful. Help anyone? Thanks in advance.by JamesBond - Trading Discussion
I agree with your sentiment. This has to be the worst "upgrade" ever. radingt Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > " All of your drawings will be saved > automatically and immediately, and they are stored > in the cloud so, no matter where you log in to > your thinkorswim, . Robert, would it be possible to change the script you wrote(listed on page 11 of this forum) so it draws a range from pre-RTH hours and extend it to the beginning of next day's plot? For example, I'd like to draw the range from 12:00 am eastern to 9:30 am eastern and have the range and fib lines extend until beginning of next day's range. Thanks in advance. robert Wrote: --------------by JamesBond - Trading Discussion
Hello, I tried to tweak Robert's Opening Range indicator posted on page 11 so that it plots the high/low of midnight ET to 9 am ET. However, I'm not a programmer and I could not get it to work. Help anyone?by JamesBond - Trading Discussion
I'm wondering if this type of scanner is possible with tos. 1) has average daily volume greater than x. 2) the time to look back is y (days or weeks or months). 3) the current price range is between a and b. 4) the current price has retraced z% from high I'm trying to create a scanner that will allow me to look back a customizable time frame(let's say 20 days, 3 months, 1 year, etc) andby JamesBond - Trading Discussion
Hi Ralph53, Thanks for your insight. I actually need the alert solely for CL(crude oil). I use volume so that when it is goes higher than "x" on 1 minute chart or "y" on 5 minute chart, then I look to fade the move at the next candle. So, I just need a script that will alert me once the volume crosses the threshold on either 1 or 5 minute chart as I have two charts up onby JamesBond - Trading Discussion
Hi, I just found this forum. Thanks for all your hard work. I am horrible at coding/scripting. Can anyone help me create a script so when volume on 1 minute or 5 minute chart surpasses "x" volume(x=5000, for example), it will alert via either sound or pop up window? Much thanks in advance.by JamesBond - Trading Discussion
