Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has a scan for red to green or green to red moves? Thanks in advanceby BenT - Trading Discussion
Thanks Mntman. The line I'm using, is 3% of the opening range above opening range high plus 1.5%. (ORH + (range * 0.03)) * 1.015 . When I add the chart bubble with the lastbar[3] it disappears. i guess i'll write a code that if the candle is near the bubble, the bubble disappears. Thanks, anyway.by BenT - Trading Discussion
Thanks for the reply . When I tried this, it added a chartbubble on top of every dash on the line.by BenT - Trading Discussion
hi Guys, I have a question . I have a horizontal line on my chart with a chart bubble at the end. The problem is that when the price is near this line, the bubble covers the candle. How can i move the chartbubble a little to the right. I have a space of 10 candles on the right. The code is this: AddChartBubble( if (SecondsFromTime(1600) == 0) then 1 else 0, ORH + (range * 0.03), &quoby BenT - Trading Discussion
HI Guys, Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this code? def crossedDown = if close < percentLinedown15 then 1 else 0; def crosseddownstate = if today and crossedDown == 1 then 1 else crossedDownstate[1]; def crossedDownstate2 = crossedDownstate; def SEStop = If crossedDownstate2 ==1 then orl else orh; For some reason, LESTop is not switching to ORL. Thanks in advance,by BenT - Trading Discussion
Hi guys, How do I write the following condition in thinkscript: input PercentChange = 3; check percent change from opening range high or low A.if 1 bar ago is greater then PercentChange, check to see if current bar is less than percentchange B. if it not greater then do nothing. C. If 1 bar ago greater than Percentchange but current bar is still greater than PercentChange, do nothingby BenT - Trading Discussion
I am writing a strategy that buys lets say 100 shares once price crosses above a price level. The problem I'm having is that once the price crosses back down and then above again it will buy another 100 shares. I want it to be to buy just 100 shares and if i'm in a position, not to buy any more until after the position has been closed. Do any of you know how I would go about that?by BenT - Trading Discussion

Hi Guys, I have been working on my previous request but have been running into a few issues. The short entries have for the most part been spot on. I have, however, been unsuccessful with the long entries. Do you have any suggestions on the long conditions based on the short ones? Also how do I scan for stocks that have triggered the short or long entry? Example of code working Any suggby BenT - Trading Discussion
