Hello, I have been trying to code the following with no success: The stock has already crossed a certain moving average at least once today has crossed it again. Pretty much checking that this isn't the first cross of the day. I'm having a hard time with the logic and making sure that it only checks for RTH. If anybody can help me with this, it'd be much appreciated.by brazilianpillar - Trading Discussion
Hi All, I have a request. I'm looking for an indicator that will alert me with an arrow when a possible double top or double bottom is forming. I'm thinking maybe if close is coming within a certain distance (used as an input) from the HOD/LOD . If anyone has a already made indicator for DT/DB that you could share I'd appreciate it.by brazilianpillar - Trading Discussion
I would like for it to plot the last 3 open gapsby brazilianpillar - Trading Discussion
Hi Guys, I have been racking my brains around this and I can't figure this out. I am trying to write a study that plots open gap lines. If it gaps down and the stock moves up then it changes the bottom line up to match the high of the current candle until the gap fills. I have done this. The problem is that I would like to for it to plot a second and maybe third open gap with different coloby brazilianpillar - Trading Discussion

Kamadi, I'm still learning thinkscript but you can add the below code to the bottom and it would work as a scan def gray = if up[1] or dn[1] then 0 else 1; plot scan = if up or dn and gray then 1 else 0;by brazilianpillar - Trading Discussion
Can anyone help me put the following code into a scan for when the sell signal appears? # Short_123_Reversal # Inputs input price = close; input length = 9; input length2 = 20; input maType = {default Weighted, Exponential, Simple, Wilders, Hull}; # Input Moving Average types def ma = ExpAverage(price, length); def ma2 = ExpAverage(price, length2); # Set crossthresholdby brazilianpillar - Trading Discussion

Robert, I found this risk/reward indicator that plots your stop and target based on the amount you're trading with, how much you're willing to risk and the risk/reward ratio you want. I don't know if it's yours or not, i can't remember. Is there a simple way to plot that information based on a specific number of shares you want to buy. or even give you the number of shares that you should bby brazilianpillar - Trading Discussion

Hi Robert, I have an Indicator here called Stochastic Scalper. I was wondering if you knew of a way to alert me on my watchlist if the both lines turn green or red. It'd be great if there could be a column on the watch list just for this indicator and if both lines turn gree then the column would flash gree or just turn green. If you could help out, i'd appreciate it Any modifications youby brazilianpillar - Trading Discussion
Hello!!! I'm new at this. I was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm looking for a scan that will show me stocks that have moving averages converging. pretty much coming together. The scan I have is this but i would prefer a more efficient one where i can add multiple moving averages. def ma = movAvgExponential(close,9); def s = ma*0.01; plot scan = absvalue(close - ma) is less than or eqby brazilianpillar - Trading Discussion
