Hey Richie Yeah, I still use the ‘4 hour’ on the TOS mobile app and ‘233 minute’ on my desktop. Just been trying to figure out the correct script wording for the signals (vertical lines) to only show whenever there are certain things also occurring in higher timeframes (ie. Daily, Weekly). For example, I only want the vertical lines to show up when I have: - FP/HRFP on the charby Dynamike - Trading Discussion

Robert, Thank you for all you've done for those of us trying to learn ThinkScript to improve our trading. If it's possible, will you please create separate scripts for the conditions below? I will gladly contribute to your tip jar 1) Overlay the Weekly, Daily and 4hr indicators (CC, StochRSI, MacD, Dir) so that they show on one single chart (ie. Three time frames on one chart) 2) Uby Dynamike - Trading Discussion

Darcy, Wow, your last post here was super helpful regarding support and resistance on the Daily and 233! I had a question for you; Do you ever enter a trade if your 55 RSI is already overbought or oversold, but your smaller charts give you an entry signal? If so, can you describe your thought process there? I am often hesistant about entering trades with the 55 in this overbought/oversold cby Dynamike - Trading Discussion
You can also download TD Ameritrade's StrategyDesk, as well, if you like the layout of Qcharts and want to practice "one candle at a time" on the small charts scrolling years back in time. For some reason, I had to ask TD Ameritrade to disable ThinkOrSwim's "Active Trader" function in order for me to be able to run both programs.by Dynamike - Trading Discussion
Here's some instructions that Robert posted a while back. I mainly use Robert's "HRFP Indentifier" and "The Edge" scripts. Robert may want to check and see if I have the scripting correct below. Also with this scan query set-up, I must have some type of catalyst (ie. Stock-specific news, Earnings, etc.) driving the stock further in my direction before I trade, not merely juby Dynamike - Trading Discussion

That's so funny, I recently noticed that same thing and set up a ThinkorSwim Mobile scan for my phone. It also works EVEN BETTER when you have a catalyst to 'drive' it higher/lower such as stock-specific news or Earnings. Plus the HRFP even works on hourly charts when both the Daily and Weekly are breaking their previous high/low: Ex. - HAIN (8/20 at 9:30am) - GMCR (8/22 at 9:30am)by Dynamike - Trading Discussion
Hey Robert, Your FP/HRFP Scan Query works great. Is there a way I can add some code below your "# DMI" section so that it detects when either the indicators cross OR: - The red line is below 10 and crosses above 10 (For UP moves) - The green line is below 10 and crosses above 10 (For DOWN moves) This part: # DMI def DIr = DIPlus(5); def DIg = DIMinus(5); def C4by Dynamike - Trading Discussion

Wow Robert these worked great! If you don't mind, could you show me what the scan query code would look like for: - "E- Chart" UP stocks - "E-Chart" DOWN stocksby Dynamike - Trading Discussion
Awesome, thanks so much! Your "The Edge" script alone from that Market Maker's Edge chapter has helped my entries tremendously.by Dynamike - Trading Discussion
Hey Robert, Do you know how I can create a "Scan Query" so that ONLY my stocks which have your "The Edge" (Market Maker's Edge) script conditions on my 55, 34, 21, 13 charts at the same time show up in the query list: For example, when I would've looked at my scan query list the other day, I would've ONLY seen CMG pop up among other stocks with the same "The Eby Dynamike - Trading Discussion
Just downloaded StrategyDesk last week and LOVE it because it's so similar to Qcharts, BUT you can do so much more with it. The only thing I really wish it had was something similar to the Autowave (fibonacci pattern finder), or "ZigZag" feature. I know Robert gave us a code for ThinkOrSwim which works great! Is there ANY way to recreate the wording for this code so that it's recognby Dynamike - Trading Discussion

Thanks for all your hard work in helping us with Thinkscript, it is such a blessing You may have already written this script, but is there a Thinkscript available that will alert me ONLY when the the following four conditions occur at he EXACT same time on one timeframe when the candle closes (per Darcy's super helpful setup conditions)? - FP or HRFP - "E" formed (5MA & 10Mby Dynamike - Trading Discussion

Is there ANY place I can I still download TD Ameritrade's StrategyDesk platform? I've heard it's not available, but I've also heard it still is. Coming from Qcharts, I am starting to like ThinkOrSwim. But all I want to do is simply scroll back and practice predicting the next candle at the right edge without having to mess with the OnDemand feature (practicing going forward one candle atby Dynamike - Trading Discussion
Hey gang, I would like to know if y'all know how to set it up so when I have at least 3 of my 4 indicators cross at exactly the same time on my group of stocks, I receive an alert on my smartphone. I have the ThinkorSwim mobile app for my iPhone, but it looks like it only does price alerts instead of indicator crossing alerts on the mobile app. Don't really care about price, just my indicatorby Dynamike - Trading Discussion
Hello all, Third year GW student, long time RTT forum lurker Just thought I'd do my part in helping others as y'all have helped me. Here's a cool "nugget" (if you want to call it that) I discovered that has helped me. I've traded LESS, but I've traded BETTER! For this backtesting exercise, I use only the 89 minute chart. Thanks for all you do, Darcy! GW student here Two questions if you don't mind; 1. When you are entering and exiting trades, I love how you put the exact times. If schedule is not an issue, what's the best way you have found to determine the best entry and exit times. I've noticed some of your entries are before 10am, some after, and some exits are quick and some exits are not till the afterby Dynamike - Trading Discussion
