This is really useful thanks. Just a question on buying time in your options - with your trades lasting weeks, are you sticking to GW's principle of buying 5 months out in time? I have been up to recently, but lots of the trades on this forum are using 1 or 2 months. The rewards are much greater with less time, but the volatility is much higher, and the market maker tends to mess with theby eternal sunshine - Trading Discussion

Some people also draw the lines from the wicks and not the bodies. The gap has to be closed by an actual body closing above/below the gap line though.by eternal sunshine - Trading Discussion
As I said in an earlier post - I did only find this forum while searching for QChart alternatives so thank heavens for that, and I have just switched to Tradestation so it was a useful thread for me. I think I've got the message about how great WIN is now though. I don't expect tradestation to make me a better trader though, which is something I hope to experience from the posts of Darcy and oby eternal sunshine - Trading Discussion
BigChartTrader CMG was obviously a good trade for you but I was wondering what made you close the trade when you did. You wouldn't believe the amount of respect I have for your hard work and success. I can definitely see the advanby eternal sunshine - Trading Discussion
Darcy/Rookie, Thanks - your perspective is really fascinating. I had never even noticed the ADX line on Gary's charts before but will be giving it some attention now. One thing that bothers me, and I say it with the greatest respect for your success and knowledge, is that you seem to have deviated quite a way from some of Gary's teaching which seems to advise against day trading. You have 'bakby eternal sunshine - Trading Discussion
Hi all I'm an online student from the UK, who found this forum coincidentally by looking for QCharts alternatives. So first off hello to those contributing here and thanks for sharing your experiences - it's been really exciting reading through the forum posts, esp if like me you are in contact with very few other students. I opened a tradestation account last week but haven't yet funded itby eternal sunshine - Trading Discussion
