TSLA ? Garbage? Seems like a great stock to "trade"by BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
Unless something has changed..there are two times option price should be considered. 1. Buy 2. Sell "Right Now' only changes if the daily, 233 completely flip script. BCTby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
Typically when you make a decision on a big chart (daily,233) the 55 has completed its move and will most likely go against you immediately....Whwn you say go our way "right now"...are you referring to price or indicators? The reason you got in has to change from an indicators standpoint drastically to get out.by BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
I've gotten a few PM's in regards to some trades that "DID NOT WORK"....What I do not give on instagram is the option that I purchased. TSLA for example went against me pretty hard and proceeded to work in my favor for a profitable trade. If time is on my side and the big chart indicates a direction, I do not get frustrated with a couple days against me.by BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
Style hasn't changed...I still follow a thought process of trend decision action...I dont have to use an action chart...I would still enter based on decision i just prefer an action. BCTby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
I don't understand your ?...I enter trades on 233by BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion

I meant no offense. No matter your level of education or charting platform overrides the path of least resistance. you can find any type of trade any day, I was simply stating those paths of least resistance.by BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
@NCTrader Months for calls = Sept-April Months for Puts = May-August That's y ur put didn't work and ur call did in my opinionby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
I actually use a 55 "e" 99% of the time. It has to line up with a daily,233 trade though. I have never been more confident in my big chart entry as I do now. Darcy, I truly appreciate the education. I don't contribute to the forum anymore and the only reason I feel compelled to is to say "thank you". BCTby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
Rookie, I concur with Robert, please keep posting. Your post are valuable and many wait everyday just to read your thoughts. That's impressive. I am simply saying most traders (new or veteran) use part of GW rules and part that they have made up. If it works great, but I know Gary's works. Your post that I commented on was me simply saying the 1-5 rules work and give them a shot before you tryby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
Rookie, Please don't take this as a slight AT ALL. If you are successful then by all means trade your way. However since most readers arrived via GW training, I think it would be prudent to say to any novice,"trade Gary's rules". Ultimatly, if the rules are followed consistently over time, the tree will produce fruit. BCTby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
Sonicwave, Try incorporating the E chart method for big charts. Add a 144 time frame and use the normal E parameters. It will help your entry. Don't pay attention to any of the noise and if the other MA's bother u then take them off. The E is a nice to know that should help your confidence in your entry off the 233. Define recent regarding big charts. Nflx daily trade on May 12 Google daily trade 5/13 Both worked very well. BCTby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
You can use the same "e" parameters for big charts. Your "E" time frame should be the 144. I would say it doesn't add much if you can already spot a trade but if you need to verify then it can be a "nice to know" feature. For example: LNKD today. Not the best set up I've ever seen but most likely a trade setting up BCTby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
Gwno Please don't speak for everyone when you say no trade works. I don't know how long you have been trading or what type of trading you do but Gary's "rules" are exactly that. Gary's rules. There are a lot of different methods and classes that work. A lot of people get angry with Gary and whatever class they took but fail to realize they have not followed that system to a T. 1. Market closes at 4. In a daily trade there is no way to make a rational decision at 1pm. The data isn't complete. 2. In a daily trade I expect to be there for Weeks and in my personal trading would buy several months(5 at least) to allow the trade to walk a trend line Bctby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
Sonicwave Y do you look at charts @ 1pm if you entered a daily trade? Why the May option? BCTby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
Please keep in mind that I AM NOT saying to make that trade or add the stock your basket. I have no idea what the company does and I believe one of the criteria to be widows and orphans would be "not to mind owning the stock". INMO that would mean that I know what the business does. I was simply pointing on that it was post stock split and rising off the BBB. My recommendation for aby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
I dont remember the weekly being in the equation from a monthly post stock split widows and orphans trade. Again, let me clarify, that I trade "chunky money"(only fall winter). from what I understand the rules on monthly widows and orphans on deal with the daily chart coming off the bottom bollinger band beggining to rise at least a week after the split has taken place. BCTby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
NC77 Awesome results on the MTW trade. If it works for you please dont let others detour you. However, this being a Gary WIlliams thread I would assume the correct rules would need to be transparent for W&O. Usually(9/10) it would be post stock split with the stock on the bottom bollinger band ready to rise. This is the way I learned it anyway. I prefer "chunky Money" Wiby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
fencepost Sorry I havent answered your question before now. Gary added the autowave. I could list some of the trades or you could tell me your big chart trades and I will try to help you break them down. Just let me know and dont send any trades that you are currently in. GOOG is splitting but I dont think its in a traditional sense. THey are creating a different class of stock that will allow ownership to retain the same % of voting rights. I do not believe the stock price will show any split though. BCTby BigChartTrader - Trading Discussion
