Bought 4 AMZN Calls yesterday before earnings...strike Aug 128 for 5.95. I kept listening to the reports, looked up information on YAHOO, watched the charts and decided it was going to pop. (Moving Averages) Sold this morning for 14.80.
This afternoon I did a practice trade @ 12:13 PM on AMZN 6 Aug 143 puts $3.45 @ 12:13 PM put in a GTC for 3.75, (again using moving averages) went to get my groceries came home and was sold out @ 14:01 PM.
It was a tossup yesterday on buying before earnings either AMZN or AAPL. AMZN up or AAPL down. I had been listening, and reading and I felt I would make more choosing AMZN up.
