A few "E" trades mixed in with some big chart trades. Decided to allow AMZN to go through earnings. Didn't quite expect them to show a profit for the quarter smiling smiley.

Good stuff RT. I was sitting back with the AMZN and AAPL earnings to let them play out then settle. Been looking for a few other tickers to add to the mix that have tight spreads and good liquidity. Added FB and CAT recently....

Took a few $ from AAPL and NFLhot smileyper a modification) and watched CAT(per a modification) also and all followed through...all puts.

The overall market indices played a major part today. Just working with a few opt contracts (<5) per entry until I get a good feel for things.

Earnings season can turn market quick...gotta keep an eye on things...

AAPL was around 900 this morning.

The NFLX and CAT were based on some modifications that I am making per the code. It's way too early in the game to explain anything about that and I don't intend to do any of that in this thread. Gotta give that some more time. If anything comes out of it it would be in a different thread. Same idea as the E method here but only referencing 3 time frames, might provide a few more signals, but smaller moves.

Thanks for sharing RT!. I am traveling on business and have a shortened trading time frame. I got NFLX puts today and yesterday for .50 Also, just got .65 from BIDU puts

Pure "E" trades today in between meetings smiling smiley. Had several other "E" signals fire, but didn't have time to enter them. I'm now testing a 1 min chart entry to improve my entry point.

Thanks for all the posts and informaton in thois thread! I have been monitoring the thread since the beginiing, but resisted actually trying it because I'm normally focused on big chart trading.

However, in my spare time this week, I've been using your method and having success practicing.

TT, i have been following darcy2, robert & mtut for the last 8 months reading and rereading their post, it has paid off!! really started back trading this month and have had 19 trades. one loss of $239. eighteen wins for $8072. will post sheet this weekend as proof. dr.p

DrPhil- this is very inspiring and great to hear- I have started the E trading within the past 3 weeks or so and I have 6 trades total- only 1 didnt work with a smaller loss too.

I'd love to hear what you watch for and how you move from the indicators on the watchlist to the 6 charts and what you check there before you do an E trade. Could you share? Also- are you doing anything else like swings outside of the BB's, etc?

NMR, i have tda with a watch list of 5 stocks plus the dow, nasq & s&p, a very simple e chart set up using 3,5,8,10,20 & 30min also attached is roberts flexible grid he posted 06/26/15.
i use scottrade and i keep an option chain with an option time & sale open when placing orders, trying to get in between the bid & ask. $7.00 trade + $1.25 per option times 2 with 10 contracts cost .04. when into a trade looking for .50 and if moving good try for $1. dr. p

Back this p.m. from training in another state, Unable to dedicated much tine to the market this week but did manage four profitable trades. Took .50 from LNKD puts around 14:15 today. Glade to see others interest / success with the E

LKND was an easy trade this morning.

Aug 15 weekly 200 puts at 4 when all six charts were red. Currently 5.35 now

What I have noticed that once the all red or all green clear shows up, its not always the best entry. After I entered at 4, it dropped down to 3 pretty quick, and then stabilized around this area. Once it went all red again the entry was around 3.35 to 3.50 which I pretty new it was going back to 4 which was the first all clear. Then it ran. I have noticed this several times trading this set up in the last 3 months. On LNKD it tested the 10 & 20 MA ( E Bars ), and then came back down thru Bollinger Bands for a run.

Just my 2 cents Happy Trading

I agree- I did the LNKD trade this AM too- in at 10:02 AM (AUG WK2 200$ PUTS filled at $5.00) I was sold out up 50 cents within 30 minutes... I wasnt watching the option chain move- I just put in my 50 cent up and out order.

I took .50 from LNKD and BIDU this morning. I entered LNKD at 09:35 and it went against me but I stayed in. A better entry would have been to wait until it moved back into the BBands on the 5 and 1 min charts and then fired another signal (around 09:50). Got in BIDU from 09:58 until 10:15

I was a little hesitant to get in after 11 since I have read here that the window is 9:30 to 11 and 1 to 2:30...

I also got into BIDU @ 9:46 $170. puts @ $4.24 10 contracts out @10:15 @ $4.80 = .51 = $520.90

Then bought LNKD @10:27 $200. puts @$7.15 10 contracts out @10:38 @ $7.70 = .50 = $510.84

Very nice job. Profit is always nice. I kick myself sometimes because I take small gains, and then later I find it has doubled. Its pretty predictable when all indicators line up. Keep up the good work.

AAPL this AM in at 9:32-ish and sold out at 9:42-ish- put a GTS for 50 cents up.
Had all RED signals on the watch list- moved to the charts- all red backgrounds and that
was my signal to get in.
