Spotted the rapid fall of MON yesterday...a gap down and as most of you know I love gaps. So I jumped on the train for a quick ride. The news was not favorable for this stock either. Got in @ 9:43 AM. Note how MON rode the bollinger band down on the 10 E chart? Got out as candleson the 10 moved sideways. Left trade @ 10:35 AM.Bought 14 Aug Put 97.5 contracts for $2.17 and sold them for $3.10.
This time of year I am using the 10 E chart to exit. Things seem to move fast in the morning and slow during the day. If I have a decent profit before lunch I exit and go do something else. If it still looks like my trade is strong I will hang on but thus far I am not getting that signal.
